What is
a Zip File?
eBook is a pdf file however,
we have compressed it, for faster downloading, into a zip
file. You will need to download the zipped file and then unzip
the .zip file to access the .pdf file. (if you need the unzip
program, you can download a copy at http://www.winzip.com)
What
is a PDF?
Our PDF eBooks are Adobe Acrobat

Our eBooks cannot be downloaded using WebTV. Be certain
that the ebook can be downloaded to the computer for which
you intend to order. You cannot download to, for example,
a library's terminal; and you cannot download it to a network
server or a shared system at work.

If you tried opening the
pdf online rather than downloading the file, this could
cause your error message (depending on your bandwidth,
connection, etc). It depends on the browser and how it
may have been configured. When one clicks the Download
Now button , it will just open the ebook for viewing rather
than download.
-
You need to right-click
on the Download Now button (control+click on a Mac) and
choose Save As or Save to Disk to save the PDF to your
machine. Be sure to note to where you saved the eBook
file so that you can open it for viewing.
-
To open the eBook
-- Open Adobe Acrobat Reader, click on file, open, and
find where you saved the ebook(s) you downloaded. -or-
double click on the eBook file that you saved, and the
Reader should automatically open the eBook.
